The Monterey county surfers foundation

The MCSF is a non profit and hosts of the Carmel Surfabout.

The purpose of the Monterey County Surfers foundation is to cultivate and sustain a healthy, thriving and safe surfing community on the Monterey County.

All proceeds raised at the annual Carmel Surfabout (from sign ups, donations, t shirt sales, etc)—if not used to put on the event—are distributed back into organizations in our local community in an effort to support our mission.

So far, since 2019, we have distributed money to the following organizations:

1. The Salinas Surf Club

2. Cachagua Volunteer Fire Department

3. Big Sur Fire Department

4. Maui Just Recovery Fund
